*On one side, Landrobe is arriving at Domino at the Island Monorail station. He gets his bearings together as he steps out.*

*but meanwhile, somewhere else in the city, a young boy with long black hair slinks around in the backstreets and alleys, glasses glinting to show some very purple eyes. He rubs his head, groaning.*

Of all the ways to wake up... I trapped those people who had me and I ran off, realized it was the infirmary, panicked and got here... But now I can't remember why I was here in the first place. I should've gone and checked if any notes were around. And I have the worst headache, too... *he pats his side a bit, and then grumbles*

I don't even have my deck or my disk on me. This is the worst.

*he flicks out a phone instead, seemingly from nowhere, brushing the hair out of his line of sight*

What to do, what to do... Do I just bother making those if I want to have any fun...? Do I even want to right now? It'd be better than going back, I guess... *he starts muttering instead.*

"Was about to head back out and help you look if needed. Sorry am late, business took longer than expected."

She kicks some of the soot off.

"You will definitely need me to sniff out now, yes?"

I guess, but I still think it's a bad idea...

She blinks.

"Is it because he is dangerous?"

Does Lucius come off as dangerous, somehow...?

"Is only reason I can think of you saying it is a bad idea."

I just wonder if he'd really want anyone else involved...

"Can do what I did with big brother. Sniff out, hang back. If you need help, hop in?"

I probably won't need help. Maybe.

"Will be here just in case, okay? Am I right that like Garum-py skirt smells like wind and you like earth, Lucius will be dark?

Am here if you need me, Landrobe."

She smiles gently and begins sniffing at the air.

"Garum-py skirt"?

"It's like Garum-py pants, but a skirt because I think he looks better in dresses and..."

She gets a weird look on her face as she stares up.

"Oh my goodness I didn't say that! Don't tell him I said that in front of you please please!"

Not like it matters. Him or I wearing skirts isn't that weird.

*wait Landrobe would wear one too??*

... don't imagine Landrobe in a skirt, don't imagine Landrobe in a skirt...

... she lets out a small squeal of delight.

"Really?! This is best family. Oh my goodness we can all go out together in dresses and put Lucius in one..."

She trails off, staring up again.

No. Lucius doesn't like dresses.

"...why even bother grabbing him then."

She snickers and starts walking, sniffing at the air.

*there's so many scents in the air, Trena. SO MANY.*

Because he's my friend.

"Am joking."

... she's going to just pick a random direction and go, starting toward downtown.

"Would do alot for friends. Let me know if you need to take break, yes?"

... Alright. I should be fine for a while. Today's an okay day.

She looks like she wants to bolt off like a shot, but instead sticks to your pace, sniffing the air.

*you... eventually pick up on a dark scent among all of the other scents.

it's faint though.*

She perks up and starts...

briskly walking. She's being very conscious of her companion. ... maybe annoyingly so.

"Think I have picked up on him... Maybe? I hope! Could be demon instead."

And which are you hoping it'll be?

"If I was alone and not on mission? Demon hunting would be fun. But am not alone and am on mission with friend!

So, hoping for Lucius."

*he makes a huffing sound*

At least you're honest about it.

"Parents said lying would stunt growth."

she keeps scuttling, starting to sniff, hoping for no problems.

"Let me know if you see him or anything strange, yes?"
